General
The EA-GLCD2 AP series provide an uninterruptible power source for critical equipment to cover failures in the mains supply.
The units can protect connected systems against power failure, undervoltage and overvoltage.
 
Functional principle
The units work with the line interactive principle in the voltage independent (VI) category.
The output voltage is stabilised and filtered by passing the input power through a converter with buck-and-boost switching.
At the same time, DC current is generated to charge the accumulators.
In case of a power failure these accumulators provide power via the converter to the connected consumers.
